Winnex provides a full range of explosion-proof HVAC solutions, including explosion-proof air conditioners, explosion-proof fans, explosion-proof heaters etc.
The following are the specific implementation steps of the explosion proof HAVC solutions
1. Preliminary Preparation
Ø Risk Assessment
Make detailed classification of dangerous areas in each area of project and determine the explosion danger level.
Analyze the types and concentrations of combustible gases, vapors, and dust that may be present.
Ø System design
According to the results of risk assessment and the process requirements of the factory, the layout, air volume, air pressure and other parameters of the explosion-proof HAVC system will be designed.
Select suitable explosion-proof equipment, such as explosion-proof air conditioning units, explosion-proof fans, explosion-proof electrical control boxes, etc.
2. Equipment Selection
Ø According to the design requirements, select equipment suppliers with relevant explosion-proof certification and qualification.
Ø Ensure that the explosion-proof rating of the selected equipment meets the requirements of the hazardous area, such as flameproof type, increased safety type, etc.
3.Installation and Construction
Ø Foundation construction
Build a solid foundation for air conditioning units, fans and other equipment to ensure stable installation.
Ø Equipment Installation
According to the equipment installation instructions and design drawings, accurate installation of explosion-proof air conditioning units, fans and other equipment.
Ensure that the equipment is tightly connected and sealed to prevent the leakage of combustible substances.
Ø Air duct and piping installation
Use air duct and piping materials that meet explosion-proof requirements, such as stainless steel or galvanized steel.
Ensure that air ducts and pipes are securely installed, leak-free, and properly laid out to reduce resistance and the possibility of combustible material buildup.
Ø Electrical installation
For explosion-proof electrical wiring, use explosion-proof wire and cable and explosion-proof junction box.
Ensure that electrical equipment is well grounded to eliminate static electricity and prevent electrical sparks.
4. Commissioning and Testing
Ø Single machine commissioning
Test run the air conditioning unit, fan and other equipment separately to check whether the operating status, temperature, pressure and other parameters of the equipment are normal.
Ø System commissioning
Start the whole explosion-proof HAVC system, adjust the air volume, wind pressure, temperature and other parameters to meet the design requirements.
Check the automatic control functions of the system, such as temperature control, air volume regulation, etc., are accurate and reliable.
Ø Explosion-proof performance test
Use professional instruments to test the explosion-proof performance of equipment and systems, such as flameproof surface clearance, grounding resistance, etc.
Conduct spark test to verify that the system will not produce sparks that cause explosion during operation.
5. Acceptance and Training
Ø Acceptance check
Organize relevant departments and professionals to accept the explosion-proof HAVC system and check whether the performance, explosion-proof performance and installation quality of the system meet the requirements.
Organize the acceptance data and prepare the acceptance report.
Ø Personnel training
Train operators and maintenance personnel on explosion-proof knowledge, equipment operation and maintenance skills.
Develop operating procedures and maintenance manuals to ensure that personnel can operate and maintain the system correctly and safely.
6. Operation and Maintenance
Ø Make operation plan
According to the production situation of the project, make a reasonable operation plan of the explosion-proof HAVC system to ensure the normal operation of the system when needed.
Ø Scheduled maintenance
Check, clean, lubricate and replace the equipment regularly according to the requirements of the maintenance manual.
Regular testing of electrical systems to ensure continuous effectiveness of explosion-proof performance.
Ø Emergency treatment
Make emergency plans to take measures in time to avoid accidents when the system fails or is abnormal.
For example, in the implementation of a petroleum refinery, the welding parts of the air duct were strictly tested for air tightness during installation and construction to ensure no leakage; The automatic control function of the system is verified repeatedly by simulating different working conditions in the debugging stage. The explosion-proof seals of the equipment are checked and replaced regularly during the operation phase to ensure the long-term stable operation of the system.
