To determine whether the installation location of the explosion-proof air conditioner meets the requirements, the following aspects can be considered:

1.Ventilation Conditions:

Check the air circulation around the installation location. You can observe whether there are obstacles that hinder the flow of air in the surrounding area, such as walls and large equipment being too close, which affects the normal exchange of air. You can also feel the degree of natural air circulation at this location to ensure good ventilation conditions, which is conducive to the heat dissipation and normal operation of the air conditioner.

2.Away from Hazard Sources:

Confirm that the installation site maintains a sufficient safe distance from the fire source, heat source (such as open flame equipment, high-temperature pipelines, heating devices, etc.) and the storage areas of flammable and explosive items (such as chemical warehouses, oil storage areas, etc.). Generally, it is necessary to refer to relevant safety standards and specifications to determine the specific safety distance requirements.

3.Environmental Corrosivity:

Check whether there are corrosive gases, liquids, or chemical substances in the environment near the installation location. For example, if there are chemical discharge pipelines, storage areas for strong acids and alkalis, etc. nearby, it may corrode the metal and electrical components of the air conditioner, affecting its explosion-proof performance and service life.

4.Vibration Situation:

Check whether the installation location is in an area with strong vibration, such as near the operating parts of large machinery and equipment, around equipment such as vibrating screens, etc. Strong vibration may cause the internal components of the air conditioner to loosen, the connection lines to have poor contact, or even damage the components, affecting the normal operation and explosion-proof performance of the air conditioner.

5.Space Size:

Consider whether the space size of the installation location can meet the installation, maintenance and servicing requirements of the air conditioner, and whether there is sufficient operating space to facilitate the future inspection and maintenance work on the air conditioner.

6.Electrical Safety:

Check the electrical environment near the installation location to ensure there is no strong electromagnetic field interference, and the power supply is stable and well-grounded, meeting the electrical safety requirements.
